Apple’s hotly anticipated tablet was debuted a few weeks ago by Steve Jobs, but consumers were told they would not be able to purchase the Apple iPad until March next month due to further FCC approval. But that didn’t stop this Lego creator from making his own iPad, Lego-style of course. The Lego iPad shown here looks to be scaled to life-size and has beautiful detailing upon closer inspection. Of course, the requisite black Home Lego button is present, and the dock where four Lego icons looks to represent mail, the Safari browser, and the iPod icon is the most recognizable. Up top there are a few more apps, possibly games, and in the back is a nice background. The Lego iPad even has the small dots above the dock to show which page the user is on. The design is also thin, just like the Apple iPad, except this Lego iPad rocks a coolness factor that the real thing just doesn’t have.
