Lego Excite Bike Nintendo Game Scene

A true classic simple yet fun Nintendo game from back in the day was Excite Bike. Excite Bike was a fun game with intricate courses, oil slicks, trick jumps, dangerous motorcycle falls, and blood pumping cheering from the audience. Lego Excite Bike nails that down perfectly. The Legos seem to be captured in perfect action, and the flash almost seems to make it look like it was shot by a Lego spectator viewing from the otherwise. It’s that great a shot. Of course the odd assortment of Lego minifigs in the back of this Excite Bike scene are somewhat random, but they add color and capture the excitement needed in the scene. We’re all familiar with falling when our jumps don’t land down, and you can clearly see the green Lego minifig scurrying back onto his green bike while his red Lego opponent prepares to hop the next hill. Also note the oil slick in the middle of track, let’s not forget those lovable hazards! Score a big win for this Lego Excite Bike trip down memory lane.

Lego Contra NES Game Scene

If you’re a big Konami fan and know of the secret “Konami code,” you’ll definitely know that Contra for the NES is one of the more famous games using the code, and this Lego recreation of Contra’s first world should look very familiar. The Lego Contra game scene is complete with two players as you can clearly see three medals each on the upper right and left to indicate the lives remaining. Obviously, this recreated game scene did not have the life cheat enabled. The beautiful starry sky, cold waters below, and steep brown cliffs bring this Lego scene to life. It also has a piece of broken bridge and automatic cannon to boot. This is truly a wonderful way to remember Contra Lego-style.

Lego Mario Kart

It’sa me! Mario! Mario from Mario Kart, that is. This wonderful depiction of a Mario Lego minifig in his classic red, white, and blue racer kart from the famed Nintendo video game Mario Kart series first appearing on the SNES, then later the N64, Wii, and even DS. Lego Mario’s Kart sports polished chrome exhaust tips flaring in the back as a race car ought, and looks fast enough to overtake any Lego creation out there. Just watch out for stray turtle shells while you take that Lego Mario Kart out for a spin, will you?

Lego Mortal Kombat Classic Level Recreated

If you’re a fan of Legos and a fan of the wildly successful Mortal Kombat game arcade franchise that spawned two movies, then you’ll really like this very accurate and faithful recreation of one of the fight levels in Mortal Kombat recreated with Legos. The detail is really quite impressive and must have taken a lot of Lego sets to get all the Lego monks you see in the background. I believe this level is from the first Mortal Kombat game where Shang Tsung watches you battle while sitting on the throne in the back. The two Lego Mortal Kombat combatants look to be Sub Zero with his blue ninja gei and Johnny Cage with his signature specs and bare chested body. What looks a little off is the Lego fatality being picture, since it is Scorpion’s finishing move to rip the spine from his opponent’s body. Also note the health bars are accurate, and won game markers. This Lego Mortal Kombat just oozes nostalgia and cool at the same time.

Micro Lego Super Nintendo SNES

Another micro Lego Nintendo design by the same creator as the Lego NES is the Super Nintendo or SNES system in Lego form. This one is accurate to the real system as well. Note the perfectly shaped Lego SNES reflects the original Super Nintendo system so well! It makes you wonder how the creator had so many convenient Lego pieces lying around to make the micro SNES Lego. The icing on the cake of course is the game cartridge sitting inside, also made of Lego of course!
