Disney’s Pixar and renown toy maker LEGO have partnered together just recently for the latest Toy Story 3 movie coming out in June 18, 2010 and released some special Lego/Toy Story Lego sets like the green army men set. But that hasn’t marked the beginning of this beautiful partnership, in fact last year in 2009 this life-size Lego Buzz Lightyear statue was created in a one-off attempt. The Life-size Buzz Lightyear looks to be quite sturdy even though he is a top-heavy toy with a large broad chest. He is missing his space helmet, probably a good idea because the clear Lego blocks are rather opaque than clear and would be hard to see through. The Lego Buzz Lightyear also boasts realistic markings and one can almost make out the Star Command logo on his chest, making this life-size Lego quite popular among the kids. It’s one of the better Lego statue creations and a coincidental precursor to the collaboration that would ensure between Pixar and LEGO. Luckily you can bring home a more portable version of Lego Buzz if you like this creation.
