It’s been almost 20 years since the debut of the highly-rated film, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Yet, the Indiana Jones franchise is still popular and still an iconic character that is part of our pop culture today. So let’s embrace Indiana Jones in Lego form as well! Here’s a Lego Indiana Jones set where the reenactment of the Raiders of the Lost Ark takes place. The temple of the lost ark in Lego display holds true to the original temple in the Indiana Jones movie. Notice the details of the giant Egyptian statue, hidden hanging skeleton, and even snakes in the Lego set. And you know how Indiana Jones hates snakes – whether in real-life or in Lego form!

Lego Duck Hunt and Dog (NES Classic)

One of the very first games to be shipped with the very first Nintendo gaming console ever back in the 80s was the Mario Bros/Duck Hunt combo game. This classic NES game provided a great demo of the light gun, advanced technology back in the day. The Lego Duck Hunt rendition captures perfectly the pixelated allure and goodness of the Duck Hunt game original, complete with flying different colored ducks and of course the laughing dog that everyone loved to hate. The actual Lego scene isn’t actually accurate, as it is impossible to see the dog and a flying duck at the same time, plus have three bullets left as well, and only one duck left to shoot. But looking aside all of that, this Lego Duck Hunt recreation from NES’s first games ever just puts a smile on your face. Too bad there is no score in the corner, I’d score this Lego scene 500 points.

Lego Mythbusters Set with Adam and Jamie Minifigs

If you’re geek and a fan of the Discovery Channel’s show Mythbusters, you’ll definitely go geektastic over this brilliant recreation of the paper arrow episode complete with the slow motion board and dummy! On top of that, there are two completely recognizable Lego minifigs: Jamie and Adam, the stars of the show! The Lego Mythbusters set evokes the same mad scientist laboratory feel and does the real Mythbusters TV show justice, as the whole Lego scene looks literally like a picture off the set!

Lego Mortal Kombat Classic Level Recreated

If you’re a fan of Legos and a fan of the wildly successful Mortal Kombat game arcade franchise that spawned two movies, then you’ll really like this very accurate and faithful recreation of one of the fight levels in Mortal Kombat recreated with Legos. The detail is really quite impressive and must have taken a lot of Lego sets to get all the Lego monks you see in the background. I believe this level is from the first Mortal Kombat game where Shang Tsung watches you battle while sitting on the throne in the back. The two Lego Mortal Kombat combatants look to be Sub Zero with his blue ninja gei and Johnny Cage with his signature specs and bare chested body. What looks a little off is the Lego fatality being picture, since it is Scorpion’s finishing move to rip the spine from his opponent’s body. Also note the health bars are accurate, and won game markers. This Lego Mortal Kombat just oozes nostalgia and cool at the same time.

Lego Star Wars Death Star Hangar Shuttle Scene

If you’re enough of a Star Wars fan, you’ve probably noticed that there are tons of Lego Star Wars sets, perhaps enough to recreate an entire scene from the Star Wars movie… say Return of the Jedi perhaps? Well too late! Someone’s already thought of it before you and what you see before you is a beautifully recreated scene of the Emperor Palpatine’s landing scene as he arrives in the second Death Star’s hangar bay in his Tyderian shuttle escorted by his royal red guard stormtroopers. If it weren’t all done in Lego, you’d seriously swear this shot came straight from the movie. One cool bit is the blurry head of an AT-AT walker in the lower right foreground, just adds nice depth and shows off this Lego creator’s extensive Star Wars collection. Seriously, any guy with that many Lego Star Wars minifigs should at least own the motorized AT-AT walker Lego set.
